Lomidhigh is proud to present the new album by Slagskygge, Facetaster. A new chapter for Slagskygge and Lomidhigh.

As Lomidhigh Records is a forward-thinking music label dedicated to discovering and promoting groundbreaking artists, with a particular focus on the unique and dynamic sounds of electronic music. Established in 2006 with a vision for artistic expression and innovation, Lomidhigh Records has carved out a niche in the music industry by consistently pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in music.

After the Slagskygge ep ‘Ninja Maker’ which was released in May we decided that Slagskygge should work on an album for the label.

Here Slagskygge has produced a deep technoish album with an industrial vibe. With hard machines and a full heart the magick descends onto the dancefloor and the rave will focus on internal moods and expressed physical energy. It is spiritual, yet aggressive. You could dance, you could box, you could run to it.

Slagskygge carries his roots from industrial and techno music into this release. So as those two genres are amalgamated here on this release, Slagskygge is embarking on an industrial tech ride. The result is 10 tracks of grinding and under the skin slightly abstract techno. Slagskygge is heading for the dancefloor with a core of hard minimal techno and industrial alongside.

Slagskygge has moved and worked within dubstep, ambient, EBM and techno. His signature is an underlying darkness, always with an industrial angle. This new output carries a bright approach integrated with the industrial sound-design and dark spirit.

With his open-minded approach to techno, Slagskygge first and foremost takes this album a step deeper into a new and unknown industrial world with his original sense of sound. This is not just a world of patterns with metallic sounds, which frequently echo along the way, but a magical enterprise further into a new soundscape, the Slagskygge sound.
